The security screen systems are attached to the buildings existing door and window systems as follows:
Hinged Security Screen Doors, Fixed and Sliding Windows:
- The main frame of the security screen system is attached to the exterior frames/brickmould or the structure of the building (brick or frame)
- Security screws are fastened through u channel section of the main frame to the frames / studs or brick of the house
- After the screws are fastened, a security locking cover plate is securely snapped into an interlock clamp receiver on the main frame u channel, which prevents removal of this plate

Casement Windows
- The main frame of the security screen system is attached to the interior frames of the existing window
- Security screws are fastened through u channel section of the main frame to the window interior jamb extensions or the studs (framing) of the wall
- After the screws are fastened, a security locking cover plate is securely snapped into an interlock clamp receiver on the main frame u channel, which prevents removal of this plate

Sliding Patio Door Security Screen
- The lower sliding track u channel is securely fastened with security screws to the exterior of the existing patio door and on top of the concrete or wood below the existing patio door
- The sliding security screen is then inserted into the lower sliding track u channel and the upper header u channel is placed over the sliding security screen and then the upper u channel (including the screen mounted within the channel) is securely fastened with security screws to the underside of the existing patio door frame header.
- The vertical receiving channels are securely fastened with security screws to the existing wood frame or bricks of the building. The screen cannot be lifted out of the u channels
- Single Sliding Screen: An interlock is installed on the middle sash frame of the existing patio door and locks into an similar interlock that is attached to the edge of the non locking side of sliding security screen. These interlocks engage into to each other, preventing the removal of the security screen from the u channels
- Double Sliding Screen: Interlocks are installed onto the edges of the non locking sides of both security screens. These interlocks engage into to each other, preventing the removal of the security screens from the u channels
